Talk about the solution to the difficult problem of deep hole drilling


In modern mechanical processing, holes with a ratio of processing hole depth to hole diameter greater than 6 are usually called deep holes.

    Deep hole drilling has uniform cutting force distribution, good chip separation and chip breaking performance, stable and reliable drilling, and good linearity of deep hole drilling.     

        1. Processing technology analysis During deep hole drilling, the heat dissipation and chip removal are difficult, and the rigidity of the drill rod is poor, which is easy to produce bending and vibration. The rod is slender and has poor rigidity, which is prone to bending and vibration. Generally, cooling and chip removal must be solved by means of a pressure cooling system.     If the cooling medium is not selected properly, the following problems are likely to occur:     

1. Smog

2. Chip removal is not smooth

3. Fast wear of drill bit

    There are many types of deep-hole drilling cutting oils on the market. Compared with traditional cutting oils, the formula is basically the same, but the viscosity is different. In the face of these problems, as long as we scientifically analyze the processing characteristics of each process and clearly understand the mechanism of action of the three extreme pressure anti-wear additives of chlorine, phosphorus, and sulfur, we can achieve metal processing     Develop strengths, avoid shortcomings, and use them accurately in each process.

Although deep hole drilling belongs to the cutting process, it is different from traditional cutting. In practice, it has been found that during traditional cutting, multiple tools are working simultaneously, and the torque of each process is different. In the early stage of deep hole drilling, when the drill bit contacts the workpiece, the pressure will reach about 2000N, and the temperature will increase instantaneously.     The viscosity of the selected oil is low, the permeability is good, the cooling performance is good, and the chip removal is smooth; the pressure at the end of the process is about 4000N. If the extreme pressure value (PD) of the selected oil is lower than 4000N or the middle of the oil If the release rate of the pressure agent is slow, it is inevitable that the smoke and the drill bit wear quickly, so the extreme pressure agent is only selected     Low viscosity and high extreme pressure abrasion resistance, use "Yida Borun-Linear Theory" to test whether oil can be released quickly in the critical action range of 2000N-4000N.

With the continuous development of metal processing technology, the dominant position of vulcanized extreme pressure anti-wear additives in the field of metal processing oil is becoming more and more obvious.
